When a contract is signed, there is always the possibility that one party will fail to fulfill the contract’s requirements. In this scenario, the injured party may file a lawsuit in an attempt to enforce the contractual obligations or, more commonly, compensation for losses caused as a result of the other party’s failure to perform.
Undue influence is defined as unjustified or illegal influence or excessive pressure that forces another person to act against their free will, resulting in inequity.
Influence isn’t defined as undue in and of itself. Instead, the impact must be undue, which usually necessitates deception.
